Bob Hope Chrysler Classic

PALM SPRINGS, California. – The Bob Hope Chrysler Classic is played each January in California at the Classic Club. Is the third event on the PGA Tour annual schedule and always have been played on four courses, but this year will be on five courses. Therotation will include: SilverRock Resort, La Quinta Country Club, Arnold Palmer Private Course at PGA WEST and Classic Club. Bermuda Dunes Country Club will be on hiatus for 2008 and will play in the 2009 rotation.

This event is one of the rare five round events on tour and will start on January 16 to 20. Will participated 128 top PGA Tour professionals and 384 amateur contestants, which include a list of 30 celebrities. The celebrities and amateurs will play the first four rounds and the professionals only in the final round. Would purse a bag of $ 5.1 million and a winning share of $ 900,000.
